Frequently Asked Questions
You Asked, We Answered
1.) Do prescription drug prices change from pharmacy to pharmacy? And what can I do as a patient to help control how much I spend on medications?
Prescription drug prices definitely can vary, "I encourage everybody to compare prices and check around" Here at Mario's Pharmacy we have very competitive prices! So never hesitate to call and ask. "I mean who wants to spend hundreds of dollars when really you could be saving!"
2.) Do generic drugs work as well as brand-name drugs?
"In pharmacy these days, we really encourage generic drug use" In fact, generic drugs are required to have a very similar concentration of the same ingredients as brand-name drugs.
3.) Why don't I need antibiotics when I have a cold?
Viruses cause colds and antibiotics are generally not effective against viruses. The best medicine for colds is still rest, plenty of fluids, and, if you need symptom relief, over-the-counter cold products. If you do not feel better within 10 days, please notify your physician's office.
Our Pharmacy
The Care You Deserve
Mario's Pharmacy was born from a realization that numerous pharmacies were failing to follow up after being prescribed medication by their physicians. We found a way to streamline the whole process in order to make it easier for everyone to heal.
Through our interventions and medication management protocols, we’re doing more than just providing medication. We care about your well-being, and aim to do everything in our power in order to make sure you’re receiving the treatment you need and deserve. With our professional staff of pharmacists and associates and a personal touch, we’re accomplishing the mission we set out to achieve: we’re helping the sick get better.

Grand Opening
Super excited to expand our services to Olivehurst. I also grew up in this area and I told myself that one day I would try my best to help this community out the way one of my mentors and good friend 'Charlie Center' did during his time in this community.
